Stollen is becoming increasingly popular in our country too, being the most significant pastry of the Advent season in German-speaking areas. Its original name is Christstollen, or Christ's bread, as the oval shape of the dough and its folded edges symbolize the swaddled infant Jesus.

The JÓkenyér Adventstollen is a delicious, particularly butter-rich leavened pastry, enriched with almonds, marzipan, rum-soaked raisins, candied lemon, and orange. It is specifically associated with the Advent season, flavored with mouth-watering spices such as cinnamon, ginger, coriander, and cloves. Although traditional stollens generally have a high alcohol content, the rum content of JÓkenyér Adventstollen evaporates during baking, making it a festive treat for the whole family!
