Description
The characteristic, light, vivid green tea has a unique flavour that evokes the atmosphere of the East. It is known to be an excellent tool for long-lasting invigoration.

One of the best solutions is to offer tea from a teapot. Choose the teapot carefully, because its material can affect the taste of the tea. The best materials are porcelain or glass. Tea tastes best when poured into porcelain cups. The radiant glow and shades of the drink look best in beautiful cups. The ideal temperature for consumption is around 60 ˚C.
Producer information
Douwe Egberts has gained a lot of experience in the field of tea blending since 1753. That was the year when Egbert Douwe opened his first small shop, where he sold coffee, tea and tobacco. Until April 1937, all the company's teas were marketed under the Douwe Egberts name.
At that time, Johannes Hessel was the director of Douwe Egberts, whose wife loved tea at least as much as the famous English writer Charles Dickens loved his works. Inspired by the novel The Pickwick Club, she suggested the name Pickwick to her husband. Douwe Egberts tea has been sold under this brand name ever since.
