Pringles Original. Have you tried it yet?
Product description
Pringles natural snack in a protective gas packaging, in a cylindrical box. Vegans and vegetarians can also consume it.
Producer information
The constant saddle shape is mathematically known as a hyperbolic paraboloid. Their designers reportedly used supercomputers to ensure that the chips' aerodynamics would keep them in place during packaging and that they would not break when stacked. P&G began selling Pringles in limited areas in 1967; by 1975, they were available in most of the United States, and by 1991, they were being distributed internationally.
The products have a 42% potato content, with the remainder being wheat starch and flours (potato, corn, and rice), combined with vegetable oils, emulsifiers, salt, and seasonings. Pringles also produces several "tortilla" and "multigrain" varieties, which substitute some of the starch base with corn flour, rice, wheat bran, and barley flour.
