Calm Thunder is the first decaffeinated coffee of the Samurai Shoelace "Serious Coffee" series. The coffee in the Calm Thunder coffee capsule is roasted a little darker than medium to create a full-bodied, sweet coffee. The coffee is decaffeinated using a chemical-free process, so its taste does not immediately reveal that it is decaffeinated. That's why we recommend that every coffee lover try it and trust their own opinion!

The founders of Samurai Shoelace opened their first specialty coffee shop in Budapest in 2016. In 2020, they started experimenting with coffee capsule production, which gradually grew into an independent business: this is how the Samurai Shoelace brand was born.

They work exclusively with the highest quality Arabica coffees, which they roast themselves and fill in their own Budapest plant in 100% recyclable, Nespresso-compatible, premium aluminum capsules. By controlling the entire manufacturing and quality control process, they ensure continuous, perfect quality!
