Description
Sutcha Grass-Fed Irish Beef Burger Patties
Juicy, flavoursome burger patties made from cattle that have access to 100% lush green Irish pastures all year round. Taste the terroir with Sutcha Grass-Fed Irish Beef Burgers. Reared, slaughtered and initially butchered in Ireland.
Why Irish Beef?
Farming has relied on the excellent quality of the grazing and imported breeds such as the shorthorn, hereford and angus from overseas. Irish pedigree breeders have excelled in breeding new strains and have exported them back to their native countries in huge numbers. This new found productivity led to Ireland becoming the beef powerhouse of Europe. It is a role it has maintained to this day. Today, Ireland produces almost 90% of its total beef output, making it the largest exporter of beef in the northern hemisphere. Ireland has a population of around 4.5 million people, yet it is estimated that 28 million will consume Irish beef annually.
Cattle enjoy some of the longest grazing seasons in Europe and are continually grazing on fresh grass and forage. During the grazing season, their diet consists of almost 90% grass – this is far and away the highest percentage of any cattle in Europe.

How to use
Make a thumbprint in the centre of the raw patty, which will create a juicy, chewy burger centre once grilled.
Lightly oil the burgers and cook for around 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown on the outside but still pink in the middle. Add cheese for the final minute. Allow the burger to 'rest' for a short while to prevent the juices running out.
For extra flavour, we recommend toasting each bun for a minute. Spread the bottom bun with your chosen sauce, top with a lettuce leaf, tomato, gherkin and your cooked patty, then finish with the top bun. Enjoy.
