Exotic fruits are special not only because of their color and shape, but also because of their taste and usage, which make them stand out from domestic products. Beyond the well-known varieties like bananas, kiwis, or pineapples, there are types you might not be familiar with.

1) The papaya resembles a squash, but its skin and flesh are soft, with black seeds in the center. It is honey-sweet and can even be dried. Cut the papaya in half and remove the seeds. It is suitable for salads and smoothies.
2) The pitahaya, also known as dragon fruit, belongs to the cactus family. It has a deep pink skin, soft white or pink flesh, and small black seeds. It has a sweet, melon-like taste. It can be eaten with a spoon, peeled and cut into pieces, and added to fruit salads or breakfast porridge.
3) The mango gold is harvested when ripe and transported to Europe by plane. It is sold in a naturally ripe state without artificial ripening. Its taste is fresh and rich. It can be consumed in many ways, such as in fruit salads, ice cream, alongside smoked meats, with Parma ham, or served with roast chicken, as a refreshing addition to spicy dishes.

4) The mango gold is harvested in a ripe state and transported to Europe by airplane. It is sold in a naturally ripe state without artificial ripening. Its taste is fresh and rich. It is excellent for salads, alongside meats, and in ice cream.
5) The passion fruit, also known as maracuja, is a round fruit with a harder shell. Inside, there are soft seeds, and its flesh is yellow and sweet. Simply cut the fruit in half and scoop out the inside. Delicious with natural yogurt.
6) The pomegranate contains about 70% water and has deep red-pink seeds. Roll the pomegranate, cut it in half, and shake out the sweet seeds. The gaps between the peel and the seeds have a bitter taste. Suitable for smoothies, dessert decoration, and meat or cheese salads.
7) The star fruit is star-shaped, so it is mostly used for decorating cocktails or fruit salads. If you want to consume it, cut the harder shell and shake it off. Its taste resembles a sweeter cucumber and apple.
