PRIVACY POLICY – KIFLI BARRIER‑FREE
Kifli.hu Shop Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság, registered office: 1106 Budapest, Jászberényi út 45., company registration number: 01-09-339560, registration court: Fővárosi Törvényszék Cégbírósága, tax number: 26693075-2-44 (“we” or “us”), as the controller of personal data, hereby informs you—our website user and customer—about the processing of your personal data in connection with your membership in the Kifli Barrier‑Free (“Club”).
In this policy you will learn:
- what personal data we process;
- for what purposes and in what manner we process such data;
- to whom the data may be transferred;
- how long we keep the data; and
- what rights you have in relation to the processing.

1. Scope of processing, purposes of processing, communication settings
1.1 When you register for the Club, the courier will, during first delivery to you, ask you to confirm that you meet the membership conditions. You can do this by showing your ID card, driving license, passport or another document proving your reduced mobility.
1.2 The courier will confirm to the customer care department that your eligibility for the Club has been verified. Customer Care Department ticks appropriate box in our system, and you can enjoy all the benefits of the Club.
1.3 For the purposes of Club membership we do not store any data from the documents shown, nor do we process any personal data other than the data required for purchases in our e‑shop.
1.4 If you are a Club member, we may use your first name, surname, e‑mail address and telephone number to send you commercial communications by electronic means (email, SMS) about goods and services that we provide and that we believe may be of interest to you. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the designated link contained in all such emails, by writing to info@kifli.hu or dpo@kifli.hu, by calling our Customer Care Department at 06 80 444 333, or in your user account settings.
We may also provide you with offers, news and discount information, or other commercial communications by telephone (live calls), in which case we process your first name, surname and telephone number.
Please let us know by post to our registered office or by email dpo@kifli.hu, info@kifli.hu or by phone call to our Customer Care Department at 06 80 444 333 if you do not wish to receive commercial communications by telephone or post.
1.6 If you give us marketing consent on the website https://www.kifli.hu/, we will also process the personal data you provide—including your purchase history—for the following purposes:
- performing marketing analyses and statistics, including profiling;
- sending commercial communications relating to our goods and services and to those of our partners, tailored to your purchases and preferences; and
- using personal data supplied by Facebook if you log in via that social network, to the extent allowed in your settings, for the above purposes.
Giving this consent is voluntary; it is not required by law and does not affect your Club membership.
1.7 You can manage your consent and choose how we may contact you—as well as the topics that interest you—in the “Communication settings” section of your user account.
2. Who has access to your personal data
2.1 As controller, we process your personal data ourselves. We disclose it only to authorised employees, contracted processors or, where appropriate, to other controllers, always solely to the extent necessary and on a valid legal basis.
2.2 We are part of the Rohlik Group, led by Rohlik Group a. s., with its registered office at Karolinská 654/2, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic (“Group”). Data may be shared within the Group, which is entirely based in the EU, for internal administrative and operational purposes on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) and Recital 48 GDPR).
3. Retention period
3.1 We process personal data obtained in connection with your Club membership for as long as you remain a member and, thereafter, for the period necessary to protect our legitimate interests (for example, to demonstrate the entitlement to Club benefits), but for no longer than four years.
3.2 Personal data processed on the basis of your consent are processed until you withdraw that consent. To withdraw, simply send an email to dpo@kifli.hu or info@kifli.hu or call Customer Care Department at 06 80 444 333.
4. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your personal data you have, in particular, the following rights:
- the right of access;
- the right to rectification;
- the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
- the right to restriction of processing;
- the right to object; and
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
