About the brand

Babybel was first created in 1931 by Leon Bel, one of the founders of the company, but it was only later, in 1952, that it was introduced to the French public. Its smaller version, the Mini Babybel, was launched in France in 1977, and with its size and unique packaging, it was a pioneer on the market: a very small, round cheese, each one dipped in red wax, sold in a net. Today, only the mini version of Babybel is produced.
