Beef is red meat, containing a large amount of iron. Beef shank is the lower part of the front and hind legs, in the case of hind legs, the part below the sirloin. It is relatively sinewy, therefore it requires a long cooking time. It is excellent for making stews and soups.

Raw meat must be stored and processed separately from other foods! The product requires heat treatment, it is not suitable for human consumption raw!
