Product description
Beef is red meat, containing a high amount of iron. Beef shank is the lower part of the front and back legs. Since it is relatively sinewy, it requires a long cooking time. It is excellent for making stews and soups. The meat is matured for 10-14 days using the so-called dry ageing method, under strict hygiene and cooling measures, which fully comply with all standards and conditions for the production of certified and wholesome organic food and products. They are subject to strict and regular veterinary supervision, which guarantees the highest hygiene and health safety. They use the latest technology to guarantee the highest quality, thanks to which you can enjoy the best culinary experiences.
Origin of the meat
The organic quality meat comes exclusively from ecological farms where the animals are fed with natural, plant-based food and never come into contact with pesticides or fertilizers during their lives. The taste, smell, appearance and durability of the meat are not influenced by chemicals or artificial additives, which can be harmful to the human body. Consumers of such meat products are guaranteed to receive quality food that not only protects their health but also far surpasses traditional meats in taste and appearance.

Ingredients for 6 servings
For the soup
- 60 dkg beef shank
- 30 dkg red onion
- 2 large carrots
- 1 large parsnip
- 1 small celery
- 40 dkg potatoes
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 0.5 tbsp hot paprika powder
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 teaspoon ground caraway
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 small tomato
- 1 bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp lard
- 0.5 bunch parsley
- 5 celery leaves
- 2.5 l water
For the dumplings
- 1 egg
- 80 g fine flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
- Dice the onions. Rinse the meat, pat dry, then cut into 2 cm cubes.
- Heat the lard, wilt the onion in it, then set aside, mix with the paprika powders, add 1.5 dl water, then fry until the water has evaporated and the onion is browned in its own fat.
- Then add the beef and fry while stirring until it turns white. Season with salt, pepper, sprinkle with caraway, add the crushed garlic, the diced tomato, the seeded whole pepper, bay leaf.
- Cover and cook in its own juice for 90 minutes. Make the dumplings.
- Then add the vegetables: the sliced carrots and parsnips, the diced celery, potatoes, chopped parsley and celery greens, add 2l -2.5 l water.
- Cover and cook for another 50 minutes. Add the dumplings and cook until done in 10 minutes.
