Tahini is a popular Mediterranean and Middle Eastern condiment made from sesame seeds. Clearspring organic Black Sesame Tahini is made for us by a third-generation European family producer who has been making Tahini since 1949. Clearspring Organic Tahini uses the finest, carefully selected, 100% organic whole black sesame seeds. The black sesame seeds are roasted and then ground into a smooth paste. Black sesame tahini has a stronger, richer, and slightly nuttier flavour than white and whole sesame tahini. This unusual black paste adds contrast to dishes, perfect on its own or drizzled over salads and steamed vegetables.
