It can be used to prevent or alleviate upper respiratory tract diseases caused by mild infections, as a supplementary treatment for inflammations in the urinary and gastrointestinal tracts, and to strengthen the body's immune system. Indication: Internally: for the prevention and treatment of upper respiratory tract diseases, oral and throat inflammations, gastric, intestinal and urogenital inflammations. Externally: for mild skin inflammations, superficial injuries, minor (first-degree) burns, cuts, abrasions. Contraindication: Internal use of the product is contraindicated for patients with kidney and diabetes, as well as for individuals who are allergic to pollen. Side effect: When used internally, mild stomach problems (heartburn, fullness) may occur initially, which disappear after a few days of reduced dosage. In individuals who are allergic to pollen, propolis can cause allergic symptoms (edema, redness of the oral mucosa), rarely anaphylactic shock may occur. Interaction: In vitro studies have shown that propolis enhances the activity of antibiotics. Dosage: Internally: take 3x20 drops daily in a little liquid (coffee, tea, honey) or dripped onto sugar or bread. The product contains 70 v/v % alcohol, so it is not recommended to use it together with medicines for which alcohol consumption is prohibited!
