It is an excellent source of vegetable protein (it contains all essential amino acids, even if in smaller quantities than necessary from leucine and conditionally essential proline) and due to its high fiber content, it causes a feeling of fullness for a longer period of time, thus it can also support dieting.

Producer information

Cornexi became known as one of the largest Hungarian producers of muesli and muesli bars, as well as breakfast cereals from the second half of the 1990s. In 2008, the then owners struggled with financing problems, the individual companies were forced to liquidate and sell.

The new Hungarian owners bought the Enying production plant, the production equipment and the ownership of the Cornexi brand name in November 2009. The investors have reorganized and stabilized the company's operations in the past few years.
