Tomato is a plant belonging to the nightshade family, which is native to South and Central America. Today, we can buy different types of special tomatoes all year round, such as small cherry tomatoes, slightly larger cocktail tomatoes, or oblong berry-shaped (mini plum, mini San Marzano) or pear-shaped tomato varieties, in bunches or individually packaged.

Use

They can be conveniently consumed with sandwiches or used as a decoration for dishes. Their colour can also vary greatly: in addition to the most common red berry colour, we also know varieties that ripen to pink, yellow, orange, brown and even green.
