Founded by Enric Bernat in 1958, Chupa Chups is one of the most well-known Spanish confectionery and candy manufacturers, sold in over 150 countries worldwide. It is currently owned by the Italian-Dutch multinational company group Perfetti Van Melle. The brand name comes from the Spanish verb 'chupar'. The brand's logo was designed by the world-famous Salvador Dali.
