Dobosi BIO Kéknyelű

Kéknyelű is perhaps one of the most elegant Hungarian varieties. Its colour is pale yellow, its aroma reveals hay and straw, while its flavour is accompanied by a little citrus and limestone-salty minerals. Many people do not know that Kéknyelű is a special variety. There is no stamen in its flower, so we plant it mixed with Budai Zöld so that the wind can pollinate the other grape variety.

Producer information

Their winemaking ancestors planted the idea in 1721, which finally matured after many harvests, in 1988, to build a cellar based on the knowledge of generations, with 1 hectare of vineyards.
Since then, they have expanded to 25 hectares, which provides space not only for their excellent wines, but also for their hospitality: their wine estate awaits those who wish to recharge with a restaurant, accommodation and a wellness section.
The wine takes two paths. One leads from the grape to the depths of the bottle. The other begins when it is released from the bottle. Their family follows the wisdom of nature and moderation on both paths.
Their bioorganic farming combines centuries of tradition and the innovations of the present day without chemicals.
Their wine estate provides every gastronomic and social experience so that the aroma reaches the heart beyond the senses.

Recommended storage temperature is between 18-20°C.
