Balaton Wine Package (6x0.75l)

Balaton Wine is made from Italian Riesling, a pleasant yet substantial wine from Lake Balaton, primarily for gastronomy and regional sales. Balaton Wine is the first regional wine brand based on producer cooperation in Hungary, so we can rightly say that it is "the Wine of Lake Balaton". Balaton Wine is a joint product of the Balaton Circle and the Riesling Generation, but anyone who meets the conditions can make it. In addition to objective parameters, the quality of the product is guaranteed by a jury convened by the Balaton Circle and the Riesling Generation. Balaton Wine can only be made from wines that have passed the wine tasting.

The package contains wines from the following wineries:

   Feind Winery

The winery was founded by Lajos Feind when he bought 14 hectares of vineyards on the shore of Lake Balaton. This is where viticulture started and he continued this in the direction of winemaking. Most of the vineyards are located in Balatonfőkajár on Öreg-hegy, but they also have areas in Balatonvilágos, Balatonaliga and Balatonfüred, so all their vineyards belong to the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region. In January 2019, Lajos Feind entrusted the management of the winery to his son, Zoltán Feind. They produce more than 20 different wines. The value of their wines is given by the pure varietal character, the fresh fruitiness, and their full-bodied red wines aged in barrique barrels have a fine tannin structure and a complex taste.

   Laposa Wine Terrace

At the end of the rows of vines stretching along the southern slope of Badacsony, a wine terrace with a wonderful panorama offers exciting terroir wines and seasonal gourmet cold platters made from local ingredients. It is worth stopping by for a tasting any day of the year: in winter the warmth of the fireplace and in summer the sunsets make the experience complete.

   Dobosi Estate Centre

The Dobosis welcome wine lovers with an exciting selection of their own organic wines in the immediate vicinity of their vineyards. It is also worth tasting their organic fruit juices and trying their excellent range of local products.

   Zelna Winery

The young Balatonfüred winery started operating in 2014. Since then, the number of their areas has increased to 8 hectares, which is divided between the vineyards of Balatonfüred and Balatonszőlős. Their offer includes light, reductive wines, but there are also premium, barrel-aged wines selected from the vineyard.

   Koronczai Winery Balatonfüred

The Koronczai family has been engaged in viticulture for generations. Winemaking means a common goal and cooperation for their family. The family currently farms on 22 hectares. The vineyards have been continuously replanted since the spring of 2002.

   Bujdosó Vineyard and Winery

The Bujdosós work on 90 hectares in the most beautiful vineyards of the Somogyi Hills, and the three generations of the family share the tasks of the winery. Their passion, sailing, is reflected on their labels. The offer ranges from light summer wines to serious, vineyard-selected red wines, and they are particularly proud of their traditional sparkling wine that builds on the traditions of the wine region.
