Gallica Cytrea
Thanks to its special production method, the bitterness of the brown beer is complemented by the added natural lemon juice! It opens up new horizons in the world of non-alcoholic beers! We recommend consuming it at 5-8 degrees. Since it is completely alcohol-free, it can also be consumed by drivers and pregnant women!
Producer information
In the last century, larger farms in the Hainaut area lived from growing barley and hops. Silly is a small village located in the triangle of Ath, Enghien and Soignies and is crossed by the river Sylle, from which the village also gets its name. In 1850, a small brewery was founded here, which is now run by the 5th generation. In 1947, only top-fermented beers were produced. These include Grisette, Saison and Scotch, and a few years later, from 1950, bottom-fermented beers were produced to meet the needs of the growing number of pubs and bars and to expand the range of pils-type beers. In 1990, they created their first "white" beer, the Blanche Titje. This beer, along with the Saison de Silly, Double Enghien and Divine, helped the traditional family business to grow.
