Their wine called Tézis was born from the Angels' position on Tokaji semi-sweet Cuvée. They domesticated the friendly flavours of Furmint with the charms of Yellow Muscat, which, complemented by the natural residual sugar content and the scent of wild flowers, has come into perfect harmony.

Producer information

Rátka is the world's first closed wine region in Tokaj. The special protection was provided by a royal decree issued in 1737, which precisely regulated which wines from which areas could be called Tokaji. The area, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage, includes a total of 27 settlements and 6000 hectares of vineyards. Tokaj-Hegyalja is considered to be among the best wine regions in the world due to the fortunate combination of unique bedrock, soil and climate.

The Angyal Winery and Vineyard's story began in the 1940s, when Ernő Angyal founded his own small winery. He farmed diligently on his one-hectare estate, and aged the wines in an ancient, three-branched cellar in the Alsópincesor in Szerencs. The winery is now run by the founder's grandson. 

Storage

Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark room, out of the reach of children, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
