Alnatura BIO Long life skimmed Alpine Milk 3,8%

Product description

Regional whole milk from organic farms in northern Germany; with at least 3.7% fat content and a longer shelf life. 

Use: Snail with roasted almond cream

Preparation time: 15 minutes preparation + 20 minutes cooking time

Ingredients for 9 pieces

• 1 package of pizza dough (400 g)
• 170 g roasted almond cream
• 1 tablespoon of sweet cream butter (10 g)
• 1 egg yolk
• 6 tablespoons of room temperature milk (90 ml)

Preparation

1. Roll out the dough and place it crosswise on the work surface with the long side facing down. Mix the almond cream with the butter and spread it on the top half of the dough. Fold in the bottom half of the dough and press down lightly.
2. Cut the dough lengthwise into 9 strips and divide each strip into 3 strands. Braid the dough strands and roll them up into a snail. Place the 9 snails on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them.
3. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Mix the egg yolk with the milk, brush the dough with it and bake in the oven (middle) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
4. Serve lukewarm.
