In 1996, the company's general meeting approved the company's new name: The name was chosen based on one of the successful products in the MILEX portfolio - the low-fat yogurt called RAJO. Rajo yogurt had been part of the Milex production program since 1991 and was a well-known and popular product at the time, which is why this name was chosen for the new company name.
