In 1992, the joint-stock company A MILEX Slovakia, a. s. was established, founded from the state-owned dairy company MILEX. In the same year, the RAcionálny JOgurt (Rational Yogurt), which was later given the company name RAJO, saw the light of day. In 1996, the company's general meeting approved the company's new name: The name was chosen based on one of the successful products in the MILEX portfolio - the low-fat yogurt called RAJO. Rajo yogurt had been part of the Milex production program since 1991 and was a well-known and popular product at the time, which is why this name was chosen for the new company name.
