About the brand

In 1886, John Pemberton, an Atlanta pharmacist, created the syrup that served as the basis for the world-famous soft drink. The brand has always been known for its surprising moves; for example,  Coca-Cola was the first to feature people of colour in its advertisements and was the first product to appear on the cover of the American Time magazine. Sport plays an exceptionally important role in the brand's life; since 1928, it has been the oldest sponsor of the modern Olympic Games, as well as an official FIFA and UEFA supporter.
