Tibor Halász, the founder and managing director of Halász Cukrászda. Confectionery has been part of his life since childhood, as his father was also a confectioner and his mother is still a confectioner to this day. They opened a confectionery factory in 1987, so he often helped his parents in his youth, which quickly made him familiar with the profession. He started to deal with confectionery more seriously in 1996 and opened the first Halász Cukrászda in Szerencs on Rákóczi út. He founded his own business with his wife in 2001, and the construction of the Zrínyi utca confectionery, which can be seen today, began.

Their goal at all times is to make products from quality ingredients that are affordable for everyone. Their main line is traditional confectionery, continuing their family's decades-old recipes, supplemented and keeping pace with today's trends. In order to ensure all this in the highest possible quality, with flavours and tastes that only exist with them, they always strive to not buy any finished products, but to make everything themselves, based on their own experience and recipes. They make their own creams, whipped cream, sauces and ice cream base, but they also cook jams and yoghurts. Not to mention the ice creams, the recipes of which they hold in such high esteem that only a family member can make them. They do all this with heart and soul, which is an indispensable part of anything delicious for them.
