Bergbauern Görög yoghurt 9%

Mild yoghurt with 9% fat, produced from milk from the Berchtesgadener Land, an alpine region, with the addition of lactic acid cultures. The product is particularly creamy, not milky, and has a smooth, even texture.

Appearance

Organic Alpine butter embossing stamp, with well-perceptible contours, uniform appearance, slightly to strongly yellowish tone. Consistency/texture: closed, smooth texture, very good water-fine distribution. Smell/taste: clean, full-bodied, specific, no foreign smell. Mild yoghurt according to Annex 1, Group II, No. 5 of the Milk Products Regulation in its currently valid form.

Producer information

The Berchtesgadener Land dairy was founded in 1927. Their farms are located along the Alpine ridge between the Watzmann and the Zugspitze.

Sustainable packaging

Reusable bottles and dual-component cups form the standard range. They do not use PET bottles and have been using cardboard packaging made from renewable raw materials since 2017. Since 2010, all farms have been using GMO-free feed on their farms.

Without glyphosate and genetic engineering

Their farmers do not use herbicides at all. They manage their farms naturally and sustainably, thus preserving the diversity of grasses and herbs.
