Organic Red Chief apple large 65/70 grade
The original Red Delicious variety introduced in 1894, along with the numerous clones that developed as natural bud mutations, are grown in the largest proportions in the USA. Among EU countries, it ranks second in Italy and France. Its fruit is attractive, medium to large in size (150–170 g), elongated in shape, ribbed, cleft at the stem, and covered with dark red stripes. Its flesh is firm and exceptionally rich in flavour.

Kávássy László is one of Eastern Hungary's most dedicated farmers, and his organic orchards are among the finest. Kávássy is a third-generation apple and walnut grower from the Szatmár region, famous for centuries. He manages his organic farming 90% in Jánkmajtis and 10% in Darnó. He grows a wide variety of apples and walnuts, striving to satisfy every customer need. He cultivates the following apple varieties: Gala, Golden, Red Chief, Jonathan, Idared. His walnut production is based on the Milotai 10 variety.
Kávássy László produces fruit according to the highest organic farming standards and is involved in every stage of the process, whether plant protection, orchard maintenance, or office work. The products he produces are 100% pesticide residue-free. He elevates the quality of the fruit to the highest level by caring for the soil, using organic fertilization (rather than chemical fertilizers), applying spray preparations, and using herbs. The intensive apple orchard in Jánkmajtis is also technically at the forefront of apple cultivation. Kávássy László's orchard—equipped with hail nets, micro-sprinkler and overhead irrigation—along with modern machinery and knowledge accumulated over generations, guarantees excellent quality.
