Interesting facts
One of the most popular fruits known all over the world, which, due to its good adaptability, grows in almost every climate zone. Apples were already consumed by the Romans, but the current variety expansion developed in the 20th century through crossbreeding and cultivation: today there are more than 7000 varieties.
Use
Due to its high pectin content, it is a good base for jam, and thin jam made from fruits with lower pectin content can be naturally thickened with it. It can also be consumed on its own.
