This Dutch potted heather (1 pc, 11 cm pot, mixed colours) is a lovely perennial evergreen shrub that blooms throughout autumn. Description
Heather or broom flower is a low-to-medium sized perennial evergreen shrub, common throughout Europe. This extremely showy plant, blooming in autumn, is the national flower of Norway, and in Scotland, its white variety is tied into bridal bouquets as a symbol of good luck. It is an excellent choice for both balcony boxes and the garden; if planted in the right place and soil, its pink- white blossoms will flourish for a very long time.
Care
For its planting location, choose a sunny, bright, or semi-shady spot. It is a lime-hating plant, so never plant it in calcareous soil; it thrives beautifully in acidic soil. It requires watering, for which soft water, such as rainwater, is best to use. At the end of winter, before new shoots appear, it is worth pruning it.
The purchased plant must always be repotted to ensure its long-term survival indoors. We recommend repotting them into a larger pot or container so that they feel comfortable in a heated apartment and do not wilt. It is important not to forget spraying (with water)!
