This charming potted plant loves bright spots with partial shade, but protect it from direct sunlight and drafts. For long-term growth, repot it into a larger pot and mist it with water. Keep indoors at comfortable temperatures between 15–20 °C.

Description
The African violet (Saintpaulia ionantha) belongs to the Gesneriaceae family.
The purchased plant must always be repotted so that it survives in the home long-term. We recommend repotting them into a larger pot or planter box so they feel comfortable in a heated home and do not wither. It is important not to forget misting (with water)!

Care instructions
The African violet has high light requirements, but does not like direct harsh sunlight. It can also tolerate partial shade, although this is not ideal for it. It requires comfortably warm temperatures, 18–22 °C in summer, and a lower 16 °C during the winter dormant period. Protect it from sudden temperature changes and drafts.
Storage
Store between 15–20 °C in a non-dry room.
