If you drink coffee primarily for its aroma rather than its caffeine, you won't notice that you've drunk decaffeinated illy! The decaffeinated version of the famous 100% Arabica illy coffee blend has a caffeine content of less than 0.05%.

illy does not use chemical or solvent technology for its decaffeinated coffee. It uses natural, liquid carbon dioxide technology, a chemical-free process that means illy decaffeinated coffee does not have the chemical, artificial aftertaste that is common in many coffees.

Producer information

Illy's most important products are various coffee blends, the most important feature of which is that they are made from 100% Arabica coffee beans. The products were the first in the world to be marketed in hermetically sealed metal cans. More than half of the coffee is produced for export to 140 countries around the world.
