Alnatura organic red lentil fusilli

For creative cooks: These spiral noodles are made from 100% red lentil flour. They are gluten-free, high in protein and vegan. Whether as a side dish, in salads or casseroles - Alnatura red lentil spirelli is ready in about eight minutes and is a quick alternative to classic pasta. The lentils come from organic farming.

Suggested use - Red lentil pasta with green pesto (vegan)

Preparation time
5 minutes.

Ingredients
For 4 servings:

• 1 bunch of parsley
• ½ bunch of basil
• 2-3 tbsp Alnatura cashew butter
• ½ lime juice
• 4-5 tbsp Alnatura extra virgin olive oil
• 75 g Alnatura cashew nuts
• Alnatura sea salt
• Alnatura black pepper
• Chili and garlic to taste
• 500 g Alnatura red lentil fusilli (2 packs)

Preparation

1. Wash the parsley and basil, pluck the leaves and put them in a tall container together with the cashew nuts, lime juice and olive oil.
2. Use a hand blender to process into a creamy paste.
3. Season to taste with salt, pepper, chili and garlic.
4. Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
5. While still warm, mix the pesto with the cooked pasta.
