INGREDIENTS

  • 10 mushroom caps
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1 tablespoon ManóMenü cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • A larger pinch of pepper
  • Fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • Grated cheese

IF YOU'D PREPARE IT DIFFERENTLY

  • Wild garlic
  • Dill

INSTRUCTIONS

    Clean the mushroom caps, and finely chop their stems.

    Clean and finely chop the onions, then sauté them in fat with added salt.

    Add the finely chopped mushroom stems and finely grated carrot, and continue to cook until softened.

    Season with nutmeg, pepper, and fresh parsley, then remove from heat after a few minutes and let cool.

    Once it's no longer hot, mix in the whole egg and spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, or at least until the cheese is slightly browned on top.
Tip
You can achieve an even more exciting flavor with wild garlic or dill.
