1 package puff pastry
2 tablespoons green pesto
2 tablespoons red pesto
10 skewers
1 egg

Steps

Let the puff pastry rest a little at room temperature so it's easier to work with. Cut it into strips about 2 cm wide, starting from the shorter side, and alternately spread with green and red pesto.

Soak the skewers in water, then thread the dough onto them to form a Christmas tree shape.

Whisk the egg thoroughly and brush the Christmas trees with it before baking.
