Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry
- 2 tablespoons green pesto
- 2 tablespoons red pesto
- 10 skewers
- 1 egg
Steps
- 1Let the puff pastry rest a little at room temperature so it's easier to work with. Cut it into strips about 2 cm wide, starting from the shorter side, and alternately spread with green and red pesto.
- 2Soak the skewers in water, then thread the dough onto them to form a Christmas tree shape.
- 3Whisk the egg thoroughly and brush the Christmas trees with it before baking.
- 4Bake at the temperature and for the time indicated on the puff pastry packaging.
