INGREDIENTS FOR THE CHICKEN
- 1 kg chicken breast
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 80 ml soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon fresh, grated ginger
- chili to taste
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
INGREDIENTS FOR THE ASPARAGUS
- 300 g green asparagus
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- juice of half a lime
- salt
- freshly ground mixed pepper
PREPARATION
- 1Chop the asparagus, then sauté it in butter, seasoned with salt, pepper, and fresh lime. Once done, set aside on a plate.
- 2Dice the chicken breast, then pan-fry until golden brown in the remaining fat.
- 3Mix all ingredients for the chicken, except for the sesame seeds, and pour over the pan-fried chicken breast. Simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and the chicken breast absorbs some of it (5-10 minutes).
- 4Once done, remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve hot with the sautéed asparagus.
