Germi Szarvacska

Szarvacska pasta goes well with juicy dishes. That's why it became one of the favourite side dishes of beef stew.

Preparation suggestion

CURRYS TURKEY STRIPS WITH ROASTED PEPPER, SZARVACSKA

Ingredients

• 400 g Gyermelyi 4 egg szarvacska,
• 400 g turkey breast,
• 250 g colourful pepper,
• 4 stalks of green onion,
• 100 g zucchini,
• 1 dl olive oil,
• 1 bunch of coriander greens,
• salt,
• ground pepper,
• ground Roman cumin,
• 1 tablespoon of green curry paste

Preparation

• Clean and wash the vegetables.
• Clean the meat, wash it, and dry it. Cut into thin strips. Roast it on half of the oil, on high heat, salt it, pepper it, and put it aside.
• On the other half of the oil, on high heat, roast the vegetables cut into strips until golden brown. Salt it, pepper it, sprinkle it with Roman cumin, the roughly chopped coriander, and put the curry paste on it. Mix it. Put the meat into it, add some of the pasta's cooking water, and when it boils together, take it off. Mix the boiled, drained, but not rinsed pasta into it, and serve it.

It all started on January 21, 1953, when twelve farmers from Gyermely, unable to bear the increasingly impossible burdens of individual farming, founded the Petőfi Cooperative. In 1970, the government decided to build a pasta factory, for which they were looking for a location. Gyermely's reputable cooperative undertook the task and was given the opportunity. This is how Gyermelyi Zrt. was founded.
