There is a magically situated and named village at the gate of Zemplén, where as children we spent our summers among the trees of the Gönc apricot plantations. Later, the thirst for knowledge and curiosity scattered us: to the big city, to universities, to gain experience on the other side of the world. Some of us even went as far as New Zealand, to return to Boldogkőváralja as young adults with our fresh knowledge and faith. This is how BESTILLO was born. Always wanting the best, combining local, ancient traditions with dynamic, youthful energies. BESTILLO means much more to us than a pálinka distillery: it contains everything we share about life.
