The Bestillo Blackcurrant Pálinka (40%) is one of the most characteristic, "masculinely" intense products of the Zemplén manufactory. Processing blackcurrants requires serious expertise, as the essential oils and acids found in the fruit's skin give the distillate its distinctive, robust backbone.

There is a village with a magical location and name at the gate of Zemplén, where as children we spent our summers among the trees of the Gönci apricot plantations. Later, the thirst for knowledge and curiosity scattered us: to big cities, universities, to gain experience on the other side of the world. Some even went as far as New Zealand, only to return to Boldogkőváralja as young adults, bringing back our fresh knowledge and beliefs. This is how BESTILLO was born. Always striving for the best, combining local, ancient traditions with dynamic, youthful energy. For us, BESTILLO means much more than a pálinka distillery: it embodies everything we collectively believe about life. We could talk about pure fruit, precise technology, but all these are merely consequences of our conviction: time is too valuable to waste on mediocre things.
