There is a village with a magical location and name at the gateway of the Zemplén Mountains, where we spent our childhood summers among the trees of the Gönc apricot orchards. Later, the desire for knowledge and curiosity scattered us: to big cities, universities, to gain experience on the other side of the world. Some did not stop until New Zealand, so that meeting again as young adults, we could bring our fresh knowledge and faith back to Boldogkőváralja. This is how BESTILLO was born. Always wanting the best, blending local, ancient traditions with dynamic, youthful energy. For us, BESTILLO means much more than a pálinka distillery: it contains everything we collectively believe about life. We could talk about pure fruit, precise technology, but all of these are just consequences of our conviction: time is too precious to waste on mediocre things.
