This fresh German cauliflower comes in a smaller head size weighing 0.95 kg, with the leaves included in the total weight. Cauliflower is a white-colored relative of broccoli and they are similar not only in appearance, but also in their high vitamin content. In addition to vitamin C, they also contain vitamins A and K. Furthermore, their protein content is not negligible. Cauliflower is easy to season and simple to prepare. It plays a major role in healthy nutrition, as the dietary fiber and certain sulfur-containing components it contains - similarly to other members of the cabbage family - may provide protection against certain diseases.
