Lajvér Szekszárd Merlot

The aroma is such that we can say to ourselves, this is merlot, a little bit of forest fruit, a pinch of flower, just sprinkled with spices. Everything is proportionate, everything is in its place. There is no exaggeration in the sip either, the sweet-spicy barrel does not overwhelm the plum-blackberry fruitiness, the acids pump the vitality to the right extent, I feel the tannin, but the whole sip takes me off my feet softly, velvety. At the very end, the county - plum last sip winks back a little more tartly, but this only encourages me to start again, another sip of velvet won't hurt anyone.

How is it made?
Manual bunch and then berry sorting. Alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank, in a reductive space. 12 months aging in oak barrels.

It is recommended to consume at 15-17 °C, it is advisable to open it 30-60 minutes before consumption.

Producer information
The thirty terraced plantations on the four tables perfectly adapt to the bed of the Lajvér stream, which provides a special and natural microclimate for the Lajvér winery estate. This means not only that there is a temperature difference of several degrees between the lower and upper terraces throughout the year, but also that the water content of the soil is varied. The valley, as a natural wind tunnel, ventilates the foliage and bunches of the plantations, thus helping environmentally conscious viticulture. This diversity makes it possible for all twelve of their grape varieties to feel at home.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, after opening for 5-7 days, in a cool and dark place, sealed with a stopper.
