The organic rustic rye bread is made with yeast sourdough, a mixture of rye flour and wheat flour. Its appearance resembles the old-time, hand-made, brown-coloured bread baked in a furnace, with a slightly sour, sourdough-like flavour, but with a looser crumb structure.

Producer information
The Piszkei Öko organic bakery started making bread and pastries from wholemeal organic grains in Lábatlan in 1992. They use the best quality, chemical-free grains and seeds available in the country to make their products. They grind the grain in their own organic mill just before baking, so that it fully retains the vitamins, minerals and trace elements it contains. Their organic products are made exclusively without the use of milk and eggs, so they can be consumed by people with milk or egg allergies and vegetarians.
