The history of the TUC snack began in 1960, when a Belgian gentleman, Mr. Parein, returning from a study trip to the United States, decided to introduce a new type of biscuit to Europe, which, in line with the overseas style, is much lighter and crispier than the one we are used to here. The first salty snack launched on the market was named TUC and it immediately became a huge success in Belgium.
