The history of the TUC snack began in 1960, when a Belgian gentleman, Mr. Parein, returning from a study trip to the United States, decided to introduce a new type of biscuit to Europe, which, in line with the overseas style, is much lighter and crispier than the one we are used to here. The first salty version of the snack was launched on the market under the name TUC and immediately became a huge success in Belgium.
