Valdouro Tawny Port

An elegant Portuguese dessert wine that has gained a rich, smooth character through its oak barrel aging. This Tawny Port, a Portuguese Port wine aged in oak barrels, is made from a blend of several local grape varieties, such as Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa, and Touriga Nacional. Thanks to its more modern aging style, the wine has acquired a deep brick-brown hue, which the time spent in oak barrels enriches with smooth caramel and dried fruit notes.

•  Aroma: ripe dried fruits, mainly fig and raspberry, alongside aromas of vanilla, caramel, and nuts

About the brand

The Valdouro brand brings the traditions of the world-famous Douro Valley in an accessible form. The winery behind the brand, Real Companhia Velha, has been producing excellent quality Port wines since 1756 – it is one of Portugal's oldest wineries.
