Estate Selection Egri Merlot

An exciting, dense-textured cognac cherry-plum scent and velvety elegance dominate the wine, which we made from our finest, selected Merlot grapes. Its firm, unmistakable Egri acidity is kept in perfect balance by the ripe fruity notes. A great companion for thought-provoking afternoon conversations and lighter meat dishes.

At Ostorosbor, we are proud of our home, Eger. We respect the Eger land and the winemaking traditions of Eger. We are delighted to make the classic Egri wines: Királyleányka, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, as well as the region's outstanding cuvée wines, Egri Bikavér and its white counterpart, Egri Csillag. Blending gives us the opportunity to use the most advantageous properties of the base wines and to make light, fragrant, flavoursome wines that our guests and customers like the most.

In addition to the characteristic varieties of the Egri wine region, our range includes almost all the varieties popular in our country, such as Irsai Olivér and Chardonnay. This is important to us because it allows us to offer variety, colour and a wider choice.

Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place. Consume within 1-2 days of opening.
