INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium-sized red onions
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 350 grams corn (canned or frozen)
- 1 carton (vegetable) cooking cream
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
- Diced bacon for serving
PREPARATION
- 1Chop the red onion and sauté it in a little olive oil.
- 2Add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- 3Add the corn to the onions, then add just enough water to cover it.
- 4Season with salt and pepper to taste, and you can also season with ground nutmeg.
- 5Cook covered for 15-20 minutes, then add the cream and blend until creamy with an immersion blender.
- 6For serving, use diced bacon fried in a pan.
