INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium-sized red onions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 350 grams corn (canned or frozen)
  • 1 carton (vegetable) cooking cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Diced bacon for serving

PREPARATION

    Chop the red onion and sauté it in a little olive oil.

    Add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.

    Add the corn to the onions, then add just enough water to cover it.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste, and you can also season with ground nutmeg.

    Cook covered for 15-20 minutes, then add the cream and blend until creamy with an immersion blender.

    For serving, use diced bacon fried in a pan.
