A fruit belonging to the rose family that grows in almost every climate zone, which everyone knows well. The apple, which has an extremely beneficial effect on our body.

The Pink Lady® apple is not just a taste sensation – it is also full of vitality and remarkable nutritional properties.

One apple contains 4% of vitamins and minerals, and provides ¼ of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C.

It has a very good shelf life, it can easily stay in the apartment for two weeks after purchase without deteriorating, or it can be stored in the refrigerator for even longer. But for the sake of high vitamin content, consume it as soon as possible.
This type of apple is produced using the minimum possible amount of pesticides and other agents.

Interesting fact
Its high vitamin A and B content aids digestion. In addition, it contains phosphorus, iron, magnesium. Due to the cellulose content in its peel, it also has an excellent cleansing effect, and its fibre content aids digestion. It gives a radiant complexion and strengthens the immune system.

The apple can be used in many ways:

• in fruit salads
• as applesauce
• in pies
• as jam
• for smoothies
• it is also a delicious delicacy on its own.

Producer information
Apples have been grown in South Tyrol since the beginning. For several years now, innovative varieties and products have been grown in Eraclea near Venice, on a 125-hectare area: yellow Kiwi Dorì®, red-fleshed apple varieties, Crimson Snow®, Isaaq ®, Pink Lady®, as well as the latest coloured clones of the most important apple varieties.

In South Tyrol, the most modern apple varieties are produced using modern methods. They have been running their companies for generations in Lana and Prissiano. Their Lana farm also offers holiday apartments in the Weinsepphof Residence Appartements.

Storage
Store in a dry, cool place, between 6-8°C.
