About the brand

Our story began in 1976 in Brighton, England. It started with our founder, who believed in something revolutionary – that business could be a force for good. Following her vision, we’ve been campaigning for change, being bold, honest and pioneering for over 40 years. Back then, our shop was a tiny green-fronted unit on Brighton’s seafront. It looked and felt completely different to anything else on the high street. Yet it was simple – naturally-based products, ethically sourced from all four corners of the globe. Our products and beauty rituals were for everyone, regardless of age, gender or background, so that everyone could feel good about themselves. Never promising to make you look like someone else. When The Body Shop started, beauty was a fairly narrow idea of how women should look. But The Body Shop had a different idea of beauty. We believed beauty was about feeling good, comfortable and confident in your own skin. It was about loving who you are and what makes you unique. Our beauty products were more about everyday rituals of self-love, rather than promising to make you slimmer or wrinkle-free. We never wanted to create products that made women look a certain way, but products that made women feel the best version of themselves.

How to use

1. Apply a walnut-sized amount to wet, cleansed hair!
2.  Work from roots to tips, concentrating on the ends!
3. Leave for 1-2 minutes to work its magic!
4. Rinse thoroughly!
5. Follow with our Ginger Scalp Care Serum!

Storage

Store at room temperature. Use within 12 months of opening.
