About the brand

Our story began in 1976 in Brighton, England. It started with our founder, who believed in something revolutionary – that business could be a force for good. Following her vision, we’ve been campaigning for change for over 40 years – and we’re not about to stop now. Back then, our shop was a tiny green-painted unit on Brighton’s seafront. It looked and felt completely different to anything else on the high street. Yet it was simple really – naturally-based products, ethically sourced from all four corners of the globe. Products and beauty rituals that were for everyone, regardless of age, gender or background – because everyone deserves to feel good in their own skin. And we’ve never promised to make you look like someone else. When The Body Shop started out, beauty was a fairly narrow idea of what a girl or woman should look like. But we had our own idea of beauty. We believed beauty was about feeling good, comfortable and confident. It was about loving who you are and what makes you unique. Our beauty products were more about everyday rituals of self-love, rather than quick fixes or promises of perfection. We never wanted to create products that made women look a certain way, but products that made them feel the best version of themselves.

How to use

1. Wet your hair!
2. Gently massage a small nut-sized amount of shampoo into your hair and scalp!
3. Work from your roots to the tips!
4. Rinse thoroughly and follow with our Tea Tree Conditioner!

Storage

Store at room temperature. Once opened, use within 12 months.
