Haraszthy Malbec, 2021

The soul of Argentina is reflected in this wine. The wine draws attention with its originality and vitality. It carries the most beautiful characteristics of the Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties, accompanied by an intense, deep violet color. In its flavor, in addition to the serious, sweet tannins, vanilla, pepper, dry fig, plum jam and black currant can be detected. First, a strong spiciness and then a chocolate finish can be observed.

Producer information

The Haraszthy Winery is much more than grapes and wine: relaxation, varied programs, unforgettable memories, unique culinary experiences, freedom, friendships and love.

They currently farm on 123 hectares, making Haraszthy Winery the second largest in the Etyek-Buda wine region. Almost 10% of their area is located on the Etyek Öreghegy, in the immediate vicinity of their winery. From here they harvest their single-vineyard wines named after Öreghegy and the base wine for their premium sparkling wines. Their other plantations are located in Vál, where they mainly work with newly planted vines. The Love Statue is also located here, which inspired their Love series.

In addition to the traditional Hungarian varieties of Etyek, they also develop the main grape varieties of Burgundy locally. They mainly grow Irsai Olivér, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as Szürkebarát, Királyleányka and Zenit for blending.

Storage

Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark room, out of the reach of children, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
